Darin and I went to register for gifts last Saturday before the UCF/USF football game. Oh, first though we went to Ikea (which is probably my most favorite store of all time because it's huge and has cheap stuff in it) for lunch.

Lunch? But why, you might ask.

Well, they have like the best Swedish meatballs around and are very cheap. Last time we went there (we were bored one day and a big thunderstorm was rolling in, so we decided to visit and walk around), Darin got this awful dish of rice pilaf and salmon. Ick. He didn't like it so I "had" to share my meatballs with him. I'm nice, you see. (Though I really didn't want to and had to tell him I was full to get him to eat them. Come on... me, full...). But this time around we both got meatballs. Though the other stuff looked really good too.

It was our gift to ourselves for registering...

Anyways, we went to Crate and Barrel and walked around. We decided on our plates and plastic glasses (we drop glass glasses ALL the time and have good ones already for special occasions). Liked the green (as in color) stuff there. Green dish towels and bowls. Like the bright stuff too. Oooh ohh. Excited about color.

Anyways, it was fun.

Totally realized we are both very minimalistic and actually had a hard time finding stuff we liked - not because we disagreed, but because we weren't sure if we really needed things. It was frustrating for us both...!

That's about all I know. Oh, we got a free glass heart bowl thing. Pretty snazzy. Go Crate and Barrel for free gifts.
